The big weather story is on a national level with snow falling early today in Houston, Texas with a stripe of snow & ice expected through New Orleans, Biloxi, northern Florida and up through the eastern Carolinas! We could see a few flurries tonight as this area goes by to our south. There are some pieces of weather energy to watch late in the coming weekend and early next week moving through New England. Models have been on & off with any potential stormy weather here. Early this morning: Clear & very cold. Lows 5 below zero to 5 above inland and 5-12 above at the shoreline. Today: A frigid AM commute. Sun to clouds & very cold. Highs in the upper 10s to lower 20s. Tonight: Cloudy with a few spotty evening snow showers possible at the shoreline. A dusting possible in SE CT. Lows -5 to +12 Tomorrow: Another frigid AM commute. Mostly sunny & very cold again with highs in the upper 10s to lower 20s. Thursday: Clouds & sunshine. Cold with highs in the middle to upper 20s. Friday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Saturday: Partly to mostly sunny. Highs in the seasonable low to mid 30s.
