And the clip is going viral.</p><p>The conversation came about after Elmo checked in with Garfield to ask him how he was doing, just like he did with everybody on "Sesame Street" that day. Garfield tells Elmo about his <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/08/entertainment/andrew-garfield-all-there-is/index.html">late mother</a>, Lynne, who died from pancreatic cancer in 2019, and how missing her makes him feel closer to her in a "strange way."</p><p>"Oh, I'm so happy to see you, Elmo. You have no idea," Garfield <a href="https://x.com/elmo/status/1847276450250129614">said in the clip</a>, which has gotten millions of views. "I'm doing OK, you know ... I'm just thinking about my mom today. You know, she passed away not too long ago, and I just miss her.
